Great asset of Ustka is the location on the map of Poland. The town is situated in the central part of the Polish Baltic seaside, 18 km away from Słupsk (the city of one hundred thousand inhabitants) with which it forms a characteristic „Twintown”. That idea is relatively new and successively takes shape. A distance of 20 km separates Ustka from the Slovinski National Park, a biosphere reserve with the broadest shifting sand dunes, unique in the European continent. One hundred kilometres eastward is the tricity agglomeration – one of the most urbanized and developed regions of Poland featuring an international airport, industry and trade centres, respectable academic community and bohemians.
